After a long day of catching the same Corvette repeatedly, I really got stuck this time. I closed up very quickly and he didn't see me for a while. We took a 4 second penalty as a result. You can hear how frustrated I was by how far I revved the engine coming over the finish line. Just what did I have the redline set to, anyhow?
Other than the traffic problems, this was a pretty cool stage. There's one section where we're running through a narrow, rough alley and then pop out into a very wide street - quite a study in contrasts.
Jim Kenzie called me a hooligan for the turn at 2:02. And of course, that's where my parents were watching too.
